Founder's Message
Hi, my name is Hope, and I am the founder and principal of HLR Dance Academy. In April 2023, I decided to take the big leap and open my own dance school after teaching for 7 years. My lifelong passion for dance began at the tender age of 2, and it is this deep-rooted passion that I aim to pass on to the next and best generation of dancers.
My journey has been greatly influenced by my teachers, Susan Robinson and Nigel Clarke, who instilled in me the inspirational knowledge that shaped my career. Their impact was profound, making me the dedicated teacher and principal I am today.

At HLR Dance Academy, our mission is to nurture the future generation of dancers. We aim to create an environment where students can flourish, growing their passion and love for dance in an upbeat and positive setting. We are committed to getting to know each of our students individually, nurturing their talents, and building their confidence. Emphasising proper technique is fundamental to us, as it is the cornerstone of a successful dancer.
Meet Our Team
Our school is proudly led by two main teachers, myself and Miss Laura. We both trained at a full-time vocational school in London, choosing to dedicate our careers to teaching the art of dance. As the principal, I teach all classes, frequently recognized for my choreography with multiple awards, and now I also serve as a judge at dance competitions nationwide. Miss Laura, our acrobatics expert, started dancing at the age of 3. With numerous regional and national titles under her belt, she passionately enhances the acrobatic skills of our students.
